What is it that endears people to the Dalai Lama? I think I must be the only person in the world who doesn’t like this guy. Every time he goes into his silly hysterical giggles I want to switch channels. I am clearly blind to the deep mystic side that others see.

I think the problem is that westerners think that any exotic looking guy in simple rags is somehow living on a higher level and has some mystic knowledge. Perhaps a few do, but most are just exotic looking guys in rags…
